About Our Unique Soy Candles
Prairie Soy Candles started in March 2005 with one clear goal in mind - to offer
jelly jar soy candles and unique soy candles. Jelly jar candles are not hard to find. Unique jars, on the other hand, are not so easy to find.
We've tried our best to track down the most unique jars available. The candles you see in this category are what we have found and tested. Some you may see at other candle stores, while others may be completely unique soy candles not found elsewhere.
Cookies & Cream candles were the first unique soy candles to be added to this line. While the candle itself is made from only soy wax and beeswax, the cookies are actually made from paraffin. We would have liked to offer you more bakery candles, but it would have meant sacrificing our pure soy wax and beeswax blend. Pure soy wax is just too soft to make bakery style candles from.
The next unique soy candles to be added to this category was the
9oz Teddy Bears. These were so adorable, we just knew they would be a hit. We weren't wrong - they have become a very popular gift!
Coca cola candles followed, and have also been a huge hit. They are great for collectors, or those who just love unique soy candles. The most unique part of the coca cola candles is the scent - it's actually filled with Coke scented wax!
"Fish Bowls" and
"Shakers" are the two newest unique soy candles to be added to this line. Fish Bowls are personally decorated depending on the scent, while the shakers make very cute gifts or decoration.
All unique soy candles in this category (with the exception of the Cookies & Cream) are made from 100% soy wax, a small amount of beeswax, cotton wicks, and fragrance oil. There is currently over 50 different scents to choose from, which is always changing. Be sure to sign up to our newsletter to be notified of the newest scent or unique soy candles.
We are always looking for new and unique soy candles to add to our regular line. It's not often we are able to find boxes of unique jars or holders, but when we do they are added in this category.
Many of our unique soy candles are in such low quantities that we just can't add them to our store. If there are only a few of the jars or containers, we usually add them to our
in the "Unique" category.
